iSync Plugin for Sony Ericsson K850i

Where are the iSync Plugins?
In my constant search for work phones that do what I want them to do (my personal phone will be an iPhone so can’t carry 2) I’ve been provided a Sony Ericsson K850i, which is an 850MHz (”Next G”) supporting phone with a 5 megapixel camera.

So I have a PS3, and Bluray movies look and sound great.
I also have an Xbox 360, an Onkyo Receiver and a Samsung Plasma television, and long ago gained the benefit of utilising a Logitech Harmony remote control so I only have one remote to deal with.

Update: Looks like with some changes that Apple have made this Yahoo Pipes feed no longer works. Luckily it looks like Apple have provided us an answer which I have been testing over the past few days. They don’t publicly advertise this but there is an RSS/Podcast feed that works. I’ve updated the instructions below [...]

I recently moved my data only mobile plan from 3 to Optus due to their support of fallback to GPRS at no additional charge (ie better coverage).
With this came the Optus Roamer USB modem, which is actually a Huawei E220 modem in a “nice” Optus white and yellow case.
The problem was I wanted to run [...]

I just read on Nokia Australia’s website that they have teamed up with Azure Wireless to provide free WiFi access for any user of a WiFi enabled N-Series handset at any Azure Wireless Hotspot across this sunburnt country.

I haven’t tried it yet [...]

As of October 2007, Google have enabled IMAP support for Gmail, but it wasn’t showing in my settings. I did some searches and no-one had a workaround other than “wait, your server probably isn’t updated yet”. Well I think I have a fix, and it’s easy.

iSync Plugin for Nokia 6120 Classic

Hi again,
Work has just ported all of us employees over to Telstra, and supplied a NextG SIM card so I picked myself up a Nokia 6120 Classic to assist in some signal strength issues in my home office, and it’s worked brilliantly.
The only thing I didn’t count on is Nokia not having an iSync plugin [...]

For those that want to sync their calendar and access it online but don’t want to shell out for the cost of Apple .Mac, it’s been a while coming but now there is a solution: gSync from a small company by the name of Macness.
Update Note: I am now using a new tool called BusySync [...]

iTunes Plus was just made available to the public, and I straight away jumped in and bought some music from iTunes - the first time in over a year (yay DRM-free music).
It of course plays perfectly in iTunes & perfectly on my iPod… but - wait a second! My Nokia N95 won’t play it, with [...]

This may not be news to everyone - I’m not sure how long this has been the case, but I’ve just found that Google Maps Australia can now do very accurate address mapping, and with it comes the ability to provide turn by turn directions from one address to another (or many). Whilst this [...]
